BEYOND CURRICULAM... Fostering Dynamism

Academic Clubs and Special Interest Groups

Organized clubs and gatherings are crucial in providing exercise for mind, practice for intellect and food for thought. Several academic clubs viz. Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Economics, and Entrepreneurship are formed under the mentorship of faculty members who write and publish research papers and organize various activities with the help of club members. These groups conduct discussion sessions and make weekly presentations to the entire college. The news articles, journals and other literature produced by them are shared within the club and published in peer-reviewed journals and magazines.

Apart from academics there are several other interests that CBS fosters for the  development of students’ personalities. Special Interest Clubs viz. Literary, Theater, Dramatics, etc. conduct numerous activities to bring out the creative dimensions within the students.

Other forums include Student-Staff Consultative Committee which practically runs the Business School; Forum for industry interface that acts as a platform for interaction with the industry; Social work club which takes up activities on socially relevant themes.
