Career Development Cell

All that we sow must bear sweet fruits. After teaching, training and developing them into competent managers CBS's Career Development Cell takes care of their internships and placements. This dedicated cell consisting of both students and faculty members, liaisons with the corporate sector.

  • We have a well laid-out and systematic process of detailing students career aspirations with corporate expectations by following a 2-tier process:
  • Building competencies that are of value to the prospective employers, both from a contemporary and future perspective.

Helping the prospective employers articulate their HR needs and then accordingly prepare and recommend students to them for internships and placement.

Student Advice Centre

Students can avail of counseling facilities from professionally qualified counselors and faculty to:

  • Assist students in adjustment with self and the environment
  • Explore career options and choice of courses while at the Institute

 

Student Affair’s Centre

The Student Affair’s Centre focuses on the holistic development of students and provides support in all non-academic and co-curricular activities. The centre provides inputs towards the following:

  • Self Managed Learning Teams (SMLT)
  • Personality Development

 

Financial Assistance

CBS offers financial assistance to deserving students in various forms:

  • Merit Scholarships based on pure academic brilliance are awarded after evaluating their performance in the first year of the program
  • Means Scholarships are awarded to students who are academically brilliant, but do not have the means to support their own education.
  • Study Loans are made available with the help of Core Business School. Also, all the students of CBS are provided with a medical cover of rupees 1 Lakh under the group medical insurance policy.
